| I try and seem polite when I post, fair enough I swear and I come across as an agressive person which I sort of am I've got a temper. But in a lot of posts on this forum I see a lot of unprovaked flaming and its quite sad in a way because we should all act mature, theres a fair bit of flaming that I have to bite my tongue too and theres a lot of arrogence in some threads but luckily most of its nots done by regulars I totally agree with you though tiesto14 theres some bad repilies on these forums, but saying that the people in the Uk forum and stuff like that are pretty close lot and their friendly and a lot of people in the chill out are cool I think most of the flaming on this forum is done by those who are around for a few weeks think they know it all and they have a crack. |

well its nice to see people agree with me....
Like i said, sharing opinions is cool and argueing even is cool...but smart remarks and flaming is not what this scene is about at all...
Like it or not we are part of the "rave" culture (some people may disagree with that) and we deal with enough crap from people outside the scene, so we dont need it from each other....we are in a sense the same as some of our parents were in the 60s, when they where hippies (if they where) and there music as ours is our love, passion and influence...not are basis to showoff.....
so lets quit that stuff already....and share our ideas....not demean them....

none of the regulars, or the OLD TAs will never start flaming eachother over a topic. it is a way for stupid ppl to try and make their point valid, but while they don't have valid arguments they just use whatever means they can master... or not (they can't even give a good flame :) )
but don't worry, U will see who's doin' it or not... this is a big forum, with lots of ppl, and so U R exposed to such things...

lol! i take it you never noticed any arguments between me and blik then :)
you know what's so funny...I argue with Blik a lot...and when we argue (it can get really rough) I really feel like kicking and punching him...but when we leave it to rest for a couple of days I'll "chat" (you can't really call this chatting ight?) with him again and I don't feel like that at all anymore :)
So if you read this Blik: to me you are like a shower...when you turn cold I'll scream and yell and be mad/angry..when you turn warm I'll moan :stongue: and be pleased and I'll be friendly and symapthatic :) hehehe Nice metaphore eh? :D |

Well, I was never confrontated with that, but there are forums where u get banned when u do that (should not mean that we should set that up here!).
But I think as long it's possible to have serious discussions here it's not that much a problem. I don't like it too and if I should do that once then please send me a pm and tell me that it's wrong...

LOL you are true about those arguments :) but I don't moan :stongue:
I like discussing things (you all know this allready I think :p) and I also like to give my opinion about stuff, and that causes discussion and flames, no harm done, I forget it within a minute, I can argue with someone and then chat with the same person at the same time and laugh about stuff :) |
