Well im a Redskins fan, what do you guys think about them this year? |
i have heard nothing from their camp .. no news about the condition of portis .. pretty concerned, after the beating he took last year .. pretty weird they spent a lot of time to get laverneus coles from the jets, and then during the offseason, they trade him back .. |

bump.
is it just me, or do you also feel like beating the sh!t out of terrell owens until he comes back to the real world .. he thinks he is living in his own world right now ?
if i was andy reid, jim johnson, and crew, i would go to t.o.'s house with a bat, and beat him down until he surrenders .. :p |

I'm one of the biggest NCAA and NFL fans you'll ever meet. I have a lot of favo teams, New England, Pittsburgh, Indy, Washington etc.. I'm more of a "good football" fan and it's easier for me to list the teams I hate... MIAMI, OAKLAND, ST. LOUIS. Anyway, whatever.
I think New England will repeat as it's not as much as what has happened to them, it's who will beat them? NOBODY!
As far as TO goes, let him do what he wants. He'll catch his 20 TDs and lead the Eagles to another NFC title game, but that would probably be it. McNabb was not burn to win the big game *cough* Peyton *cough*
I really like what Minny has done this year and Detroit too. I hope the Lions can really run and gun like Minny should be able to. I think Arizona will be kinda cool to watch and I never thought I would be saying that.
All I know is it's under a month until game 1!!! WOOHOO!
Terry
P.S. I will start the NFL weekly predictions thread again before week 1. If you don't know what that is, you just predict all the games of the week, keep a running total and at the end of the season, we see who is best, nice and simple. |

Without. It will be straight-up who wins and who doesn't. Spread is too hard for people who don't have too much knowledge of the NFL closely. |

definately yeah .. some strange reason, i have better luck with the spread, comparing with no spread .. go figure! .. the spread is a lot harder, because of course with the 1/2 points floating around, and figuring if the underdog can score a touchdown or more against the favorite ..
in other news, former heisman trophey winner josh white retires from pro football .. seems not many big12 school quarterbacks can make the cut against the pro powerhouses .. did kordell stewart curse the conference ? :wtf: |

what ?!?!?!?
already throwing the white flag for romeo ? do you still believe in the magic of jeff garcia ?? :p ..
cleveland's got a decent team this year .. hopefully braylon edwards and antonio bryant is a good combination, and surely romeo can work the current cleveland defense somewhere to a decent level .. :p .. i say 5-11 this year .. |

Yep, Jason White has joined the likes of Eric Crouch and Co. hahahaha. At least he beat the hell out of Texas 4 straight years.
Cleveland I predict will go 4-12 at best. They have Braylon, but who will get them the ball? Is Luke McCown their starter? Ouch!
And as a heads-up for the weekly predictions, new change. This year, if ANYONE can call a tie-game, you automatically win and get called the NFL Nostradamus! :D |

ohoh (at someone in particular in here) I just saw Rex Grossman down in the ground and injured, coudnt walk off the field, looks like the Bears are even more screwed at QB again.
edit: he has a fractured ankle and he ll miss 3 -4 months
Harrington went 9-9 for 100 yards today..
and wow the chargers kicker ended last year on a downote, and in his 1st preseason game he missed 3 makeable fieldgoals. Ok so it was rainy and stuff, maybe he had an excuse....only thing is the Packers wound up winning the game on a gamewinning 53 yard field goal.
Pre Season Football, its tastic |
