hmm... i know there is a great international music production college called SAE. i don't know if they have a school in montreal...but try searching for them, they have schools all over the world.

they teach using all sorts of software and hardware interfaces... and even have a school on dj mixing. :)

SAE are apparently good, but their qualifications arent recognised by any universities or colleges.

Their degree course IS a proper degree and is a recognised qualification (BA HONS Recording Arts)- but as for all their other courses, you are correct- they arent recognised at all, with the exception of the multimedia degree.
You can only do the degree course at a few of their sites as well.

I could write another thesis on why SAE isnt all its cracked up to be, but I wont (I was degree student at SAE many years ago if you couldnt tell already). People can make up their own mind

If its anything like over here, then plenty of smaller colleges will offer stuff- and a lot of state schools and colleges offer music technology degrees and diplomas over now too. Search around- bound to find something interesting!

damn ill look into SAE though, the reason montreal is because my two female friends are going to concordia uni. in montreal, also Aria is in montreal making it almost perfect aswell as me liking the more europeon style of living like canada has compared to the US. Its not that far from MA either. But ill look into SAE aswell as search for more.

Thanks for the input guys;)
