Ok just built my new PC today: Asus A8N Deluxe mobo, 2 gigs Corsair xms ram, 2-74GB Raptor 10,000 RPM SATA HDD's in Raid 0, 500GB Hitachi Deskstar storage HD, AMD FX 55 CPU, XFX overclocked Geforce 7800GTX GPU, 600 watt PSU, all in a huge Coolermaster CM Stacker full tower. Now I need one hell of a soundcard...money is no object, so which should I go with? M-Audio Audiophile 192 or the 1010LT, or something else? It is for producing/recording purposes as well as ocasional gaming. I'll probably grab an Audigy 2 or 4 for gaming though. Grassyass! |

most interfaces are generally the same... it just depends on what your setup is going to depend on (1/4" TRS, XLR, RCA, etc.)
if you're going to be mainly software based then the Audiophile will do you just fine. however, if you're planning on having multiple hardware synths you'll want something like the Delta 1010 or FW 1814. |
