DIGGERS! I guess its ok that he is in teh Guv, because he has almost no crowd interaction anyways. He will be fine up in that booth.

True true. I went to see him at System a little while ago, nice set, but this guy didn't look at the crowd ONCE.

Diggers is the most technically skilled mixer in the world, but his crowd interaction leaves much to be desired. He goes against one of the fundamental rules of DJing: no one like a DJ who has his head buried in a mixer the entire night.

i know. That was my first time seeing him. absolutly amazing mixing, but yes, no crowd interaction. Im not even sure i saw a smile or not.

but in the ends, its all about the music, so i was more than happy to be able to hear him play.

*sniff* this sounds like so much fun. I wish I was in Toronto during this time. Would be cool to meet the T.A.'s. I haven't met any yet but I did recognize a few at the Guv (from TA pic forums) while at Marco V in February. Just to shy to go up to anyone because I don't post often on here. :sadgreen:

so true, Ive caught a few of his sets over the years, and most recently at System.

Here is Diggers at the highpoint of the night. What, you cant see his smile?

A great night regardless, amazing tracks, and great people. But not even a smile was given. The man is all business.

meh, just go up to someone anyways. They don't bite, honestly :D

Yeah, that night at System was a blast though. Diggers' set was amazing, but I gotta say that Brad Copeland was pretty good as well.

(and you'll probley find some ta's upfront)

FACK YA!!! You can expect me to be dancing on their friggen turntables till they throw me back into the crowd only for me to crawl back!!

Oh and btw, the idea with t-shirts and name tags is awsome!! We should all do it just for LoL so we could meet everyone and surprise the out of all the non ta's!!

For Labour of Love, go out and buy yourself a shiny new white shirt, plain white....any style. Then, in whatever style/font you want...get your TA moniker ironed/stenciled/stitched whatever means there are to get lettering applied to the front of your new shirt. But make it legible and do it with intent. Only TA site visitors will get it (so don't worry so much about style) and everyone else will be wondering "why all these strange people have names/words on their shirt".

As I suspected, nay sayers but also some enthusiasts. To all you enthusiasts....based on the suggestions there has been a change of directions.

Wear whatever color/kind of shirt you want....just get your name on it so that it is legible in low light. I thought of the name tags...but as mentioned they'll smear and/or fall off by the end of a night that will be a sweatbox.
Get on board or not...I just thought I'd throw the idea out there. Like I said, I'll be wearing my shirt. And by the looks of it...I'll be on the lookout for some people to stop for a second to enjoy the crazy sets that will occur that night. Night all....
