Looks like it was a lucky escape. Four insidents - three tube stations and a bus. Looks like only detenators exploded - either on their own or cos they failed to detenate the actual bomb. Listening to a whitnes on the news now, she said the person that did it (on one of the tube trains) left his rucksack on the train (after the detenator had gone off) then ran off the train and up the stairs (which suggests to me his bomb failed but we dont know that yet)
Police are not at the moment treating the insident as a "major insident" yet |

Yea I think we would have heard by now if there were any casualties.
There is a possibility that they were just detenators that exploded, just to cause fear and disruption. But the thing with that is that it means there are four terrorists still out there somewhere and will most likely be caught, meaning they might give info away. I thought it might be suicide bombers gone wrong cos at least suicide bomber 'destroy the evidence' |

Police have reported one injury at Warren St, while specialists in chemical protection suits are entering the subway at the same station |

Thats pretty good news. Seems like no one has died. But on cnn they said they werent suicidal bombers. If they were there would be dead people.
they said there was a "sour" smell. What type of bomb is that?? |

Bloomberg was reporting that one of them was a "nailbomb" earlier this morning. |

| I don't understand the motivation. I saw a piece on CNN that said the motive isn't usually fanatical religious beliefs but in an effort to get foreign troops out of a particular area. It would seem like it has the opposite effect, causing the West to spend more time in the middle east. |
