in 1998 i was going online to play delta force 1.
i had just got done watching hot shots, the slapstick off of top gun.
there was a dude named washout.
i needed an online gaming alias.
so i effortlessly chose washout.
thru df1 i moved to df2 and to bhd.
then we moved to jo, then back to bhd, and now we play dfx.
i use washout as not just my gaming alias now, but my whole online alias.
gns is my squad.
wt is my battle tag.
hence the sig. |

Delta Force Xtreme??!??
u like being able to fly helicopters then jump out of them and when you are down on the ground safe and sound you can just take off with the same helicopter cuz it didn't get damaged when it hit the ground???
the name "Xtreme" should ring a bell in any old-skool DF'er...
It's lame to think that they can bring in vehicles as they are now into DF...
Don't get me wrong, vehicles in DF wouldn't be such a bad idea, but the vehicles in DFX need serious modifications.... :( |

u make the mistake of assuming we like it.
we have been playing nova games together since df1.
we play whats new to be compete.
honestly, 90% of us hate dfx, but we still bring in titles.
if we were smart we'd stop playing nova games.
but we arent.
as far as helos/vehicles in dfx.
its was an idea nova had that wasnt all that.
dfx is df1 with the jo engine, jo elements, and poor weapon system.
jo they got right, dfx they got wrong.
we await their next mistake. |
