Alright. Nothing's booked yet, but I'm most likely heading over to San Diego in mid-August. Basically, I have a few q's. I'm looking at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina. Anyone know if that's near any beaches?
Also... Nightlife. What goes on in your neck of the woods? What are some good clubs or other-wise interesting things to be done? Really... I just want as much information as possible!
Thanks!!! |

4th and B is a great venue but im not sure if they will have any club events at the time you arrive. On Broadway isnt bad, not completly a music crowd but they seem to bring some nice talent here and there.
If your staying downtown your only about 10-15 min drive from the beaches.
I now live here and love it! |

Blacks Beach . . . just west of UCSD.
It is actually a great beach but a pain to get to. |

| Ok I am a fellow New yorker and live here now. I will tell you that the Sheraton downtown is good but not close to the beach. Stay in Pacific Beach or Ocean Beach, The clubs in SD arent anything like NYC or LA, and dont stay open as late either everything closes by 2, in LA its later. The best beach in my opinion is Wind N Sea close to La Jolla. which is north of Pacific Beach.... IM me and will tell you more... |

| Thanks. I was told it was around UCSD, but I looked for a few beaches and nobody was around. I will check it out again when I head to San Diego. |
