Okay... so it was a try and fail.
I thought reviewing the reviews would get more juice out of review, but I guess i was wrong. I apologize and you all will forgive me... maybe my arrogant ass should stop posting here.. :(
Maybe it should be new rule or something if isn't already... no reviewing of reviews.. |

I'm glad you're sort of apologised here though, as it was quite an insulting thing to do people really, even though I can almost see your motive behind it - reviews to be more constructive and of more use to you. The problem is you can't really criticsise other people for taking their time to express there views. It's selfish simply to consider how valuable their comments are to you, and I'm glad you've realised that.
Even if someone is to say "nice track" without any expansion, it's still a nice gesture, and at least let's you know that's you've produced something which others will enjoy.
Hopefully it wont damage your reputation too much, because I as far as I can see you do seem to be quite a good contributor when it comes to reviewing other people's work.
So yeah, looks like you learned from that mistake. Albeit the hard way. :p |

I don't see what's the big arrogance here. My intent wasn't to make it arrogant, but mostly for humorous purposes. Me and actually my friends too thought it was funny.
I know it's good that people take time out to review tracks, and I appreciate that, but I thought reviewing the reviews would get more out of the reviews... that is all... I wasn't trying to exercize my "godliness" over TA... or whatever crap you guys were thinking.
I deleted the thread, because it went on for long enough to know I would get in trouble for it... so what's the point of leaving the track thread open?
I've never heard of such a thing being done before, and I'm one who likes to try new things. Some of the things I try are successes, others are failures. It was simply a new tactic I thought would grow the existing reviews. If you got insulted, I already apologized. I'll still be around, but doubtfully I will post any new tracks for review. If anyone wants to hear what I'm up to, they'll have to check the promo sets. I remember the last track I posted too, it was another big drama thread. |

YES... EVERYTHING I do on this board can never be taken seriously... and people on here who know me well enough know that... especially the side remarks I make on reviews, and all sorts of things I do on this board. I should have a disclaimer on my sig or something.
plus how can you take a guy that lives in hrhr-land serious? and has a freaky frog face for an avatar? |

Sorry Gerry I don't buy that. Would of preferred you just leaving it as an apology rather some lame "it was all a joke" excuse.
If it was a joke, it would be in the same boat as someone doing you a favour, only for you to punch them in the face and then say "JUST KIDDING!"
Which, as far as I'm concerned, isn't particularily funny. |

okay i do apologize, but you have to realize that everything I do on this board can never be taken seriously. I guess you would have to be an FL / TA to understand that. and maybe I have to realize that this isn't Southeast TA, and I should treat this forum differently. I dono. |

see, there's a line between poking fun at ppl and downright insulting them. somehow, you always make a 50 yard dash past that line every time.
whatever, it doesn't really offend me anymore because i know that's your style and that's how you talk, i'm just trying to help you out in trying not to sound so pompous and arrogant all/most of the time. |

OK fair enough. Don't want this to get blown out of proportion or anything and becoming some mega-drama.
You're right about treating this forum differently. There is most definitely a sort of forum ettiquette here... You kinda broke an unwritten rule really, even it was in the name of light-heartedness.

Oh, and if everything you do on this forum is not to be taken seriously, I guess we shouldn't be taking your work and your request for feedback on it seriously either then. |
