Souldrifter pres. Basic Structure - The Breathe Within

Hardware: No hardware
Time used: About 2 days (including pauses..like eating and ting)
Comment: Still got a looong way to go here. Can't really get enough drive and feeling into it. If any fruityloopers wanna help me finish the thing, it would be kickass..like an amateur collab, beginning of something big :D Nah, but seriously..take a listen and tell me what you think :)

well, to get some drive just add a 4x4 hat in there
- that breakdown sounds pretty nice with all those layers of melodies, fx. sounds almost electroish
- i'd remove some of those lowere frequencies on the main synths and add a simple, but deep bassline and set the attack high on the synth. then make the higher frequencies of the kick stand out.
- eq the tracks so they don't all clash at the lower-mid level.
- add some funky/electroish percs to fill higher frequencies more
- overall, this is definatly a nice start. |

Thank you very much, this is exactly the kind of help I need, not just "this sucks" or "pretty good", so this is much aprecciated. I'll look into it tomorrow..right now it's 05:10am and I am messeeed uuuup.
