I think he meant he can make $60 in an hour of work doing print media or something

smokeape, you're really ruining the thread here. c'mon, lets talk cars

anyways, anyone take their car to the tracks? I go to the track just about everytime it is open, just to watch of course. Evos and SRT-4s really stir up the place. and the new mustangs are really slow

So, if it's raining and the bus doesn't make a run on time do you just hoof it or use a skateboard to get to work now? If you make $60/h, then you are not a partner in any business since you wouldn't draw an hourly wage if you were. Hookers make the same, BTW, but not a normal salary.

Hahaha, actually I know most students in my program actually did take public transportation. I also did a survey for one of my psychology classes about student transportation and the number of car owners was actually pretty low. It makes sense to not own a car in college, if public transport is avaliable. Car insurance in Ontario for males under 25 can cost more than car payments (up to $9,000 a year, probably more), and with gas going over 90 cents a liter, may as well just save money and take the bus.

I work out of home for now, cause the low overhead ($0 is not even bad ;)) But I'm looking into getting a car so I don't have to rely on public transportation for client meetings. When I said I can make over 60/h, I meant for actually doing client work. So no, I don't draw an hourly wage from my business, but it's what I get from charging my clients.

Thanks for clarifying the point about hooker wages. Didn't really explain how you'd get somewhere to draw them other than in a bus, but reckon that's the norm in Canada?

Tell us some more unknown tales from the Great White...

Lol!

Smokeape, you ing moron. Telling people what you make per hour is the standard way of telling folks what you make per 2000 hour year. 60/hour = $120,000/year. Salaried folk (myself included) articulate that to those interested when appropriate.

btw, did you find out hooker wages from your first wife or your second?

ziiiiiiiiing

I drive an Eagle Talon eSI, good looking car, but she's hella slow. I'm going to get rid of it here as soon as I can and buy a Nissan 240SX and swap in an rb25det.

I need RWD. And Power.
