Rookie question but....

Yet another noob question but here goes anyway.
The system I'm stuck working with here is rather old and badly out-dated as far as I can tell. No monitor speakers and such. Anyway. The high-end sounds ALWAYS are completely over-bearing regardless of what I do on my mixer/soundbard. And the bass shots roll far to much beyond what the sound SHOULD be. Not enough snap to the beat.
Just to give a bit of insight this is what I'm working with
Behringer Pro Mixer DX 1000
Behringer Ultra-curve Pro (Digital EQ
Behringer Super-x Pro
2X QSC PLX3402 Amplifiers
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. |

Upgrade??
If the external EQ and mixer Eqs don't help, I don't see any other choice :( |
