This installment of PUREVISION brings us a combination of psychedelic beats and the sliver screen coming to Vision Sky. Astral Projection have never played Chicago, however they have been a global phenomenon in the psy-trance and goa scene for years. Their live act is not be missed, things may get out of hand!
Astral Projection is a duo comprised of Avi Nissim and Lior Perlumter. They have been mates since elemenatary school! They started some of the early industrial movements in Isreal with their band Paradox. They had made the rounds as Acid Techo DJ's before creating Astal Projection and starting several labels to push this pioneering sound which has won fans over around the world.
Joining AP is Initialization String LIVE: This psychedelic trio from Texas will bombard your senses with full-on-funky-melodic-Psy, deep from within the machine. Widely known for their live drumming and emphasis on electronicly manipulated tribal beats from the netherworld.
Kicking off the night will be a special screening of the The Maestro. The premier viewing of this film will take place from 10:30 -11:30 in Vision Sky
