It's not "blacks commit more crimes" but "poor people are bound to commit more crimes". Soon you'll be saying that Mexicans commit more crime and will even claim that "Mexican" or "Latino" is a race.

Well, Mexicans who do jump the border..then trek all the way up to CT and NY do bust their asses for no money with no education and/or not being able to speak English...they have strong work ethics...however the blacks in my area have none. This is not an opinion but a fact. Blacks tend to be lazy and shoot for the easy cash...robbery, drugs, etc...screw being politically correct...black DO commit more crimes in the CT and NY area. You sure dont hear many Mexicans in my area tlaking about racial profiling....probally because people know they do their best with the cards they are dealt. |

Have you got any studies/researches on the matter? I'd like to analyse it. |

A person's point of view is too limited to be taken as reference, and you know that.
In this case, unless proved otherwise, you're taking the behaviour of some individuals and basing them in a group which might not be necessarily connected to the problem (i.e. blaming it on races rather than poverty). If it were as true and obvious as you're saying, the government would've taken action a long time ago. |

I am not blaming it on poverty at all. I am blaming it on laziness, lack of self-respect and a general lack of respect for the community. There are countless poverty stricken people who excel and succeed, or at least are stagnant but abide by our laws. |

I know you aren't blaming it on poverty - I'm the one who is suggesting this connection. I too agree that it's out of laziness and lack of respect, in some way but, it might not be related to "race". |

Sincerely, I can't find a reason to believe in it, neither socially nor biologically. |

2. A group of people united or classified together on the basis of common history, nationality, or geographic distribution: the German race.
3. A genealogical line; a lineage.
4. Humans considered as a group.

Lira, I'm just curious, but how do you define race? OR What does the term mean to you? |
