It will come out sounding like if a computer does it by itself. Besides, that site isn't gonna have all trance tracks ever produced. |
easy now! one thing that can be proven is that it defintiely does Not sound and no-one has to take my word for it, thats what the Demo Mixer is there for have a play, its free.
And also its not a computer only process, there is human input when the tracks are loaded onto the site as a guide for the mixer so there is that natural element. and of course its much faster - you can spend 5 minutes doing an hour length mix rather than.. well an hour! |

Nobody likes you either, shogun.
And Ory, does it make any difference either way? |

You can think that all you want, but it doesn't mean I do. |

are there other programs freely available that will do what yours can for mixing mp3s?
have always wanted something that can quickly put together a few tunes in a mix to be able to give to friends. havent really got the time to use something like mixmeister to do it properly, although judging by the amount of time i spend on here you wouldnt think that.
would be cool if you could upload tunes and it mix them for ya then download the finished product. i can dream i suppose :D |

I must admit I was skeptical about that mixing software. I've just tried some tests and it works well for a computer.
Sure it will never replace the human dj but that's a great alternative for someone who don't know how to mix
Would be interesting to look at the source code :p |

it might be worth getting someone to do a review of the site for some magazine or dance website
there's plenty of members on here with those kind of contacts
would increase site traffic and might persuade a few more labels to come on board |

| glad you liked it! i think the closest thing to our system is MixMeister - im bound to be biased but the MM is good at beat matching but doesnt know when to bring the tracks in i found. i was thinking about something where the user could upload the tracks and get them back mixed but it couldnt be done because of various irritating licensing issues! i just need to make sure we have all the good new tracks on the site (checking mixmag, dj mag, this forum etc) |
