I felicitate you. Saying something like it's not an RPG makes you look like a benighted baboon who is clearly oblivious to the RPG genre. The orchestral pieces in both the said games are far superior to the bull from Halo II.

Maybe you should check the original soundtrack of Gladiator. There are a lot of good and moody tracks. If I remember well, sorrow is pretty dark and cool.

Vangelis soundtrack for Alexander is propably the best thing with the movie. So beautiful. Ful of oriental and epic tones.
