I think "Royksopp" and "Boards Of Canada" could create a storm.

Maetrik & James Holden
Maetrik makes deep and dubby tech house, interspersed with some glitchy minimal tech. Holden, is well, Holden, and makes a great team with anyone really, but i'd be interested in seeing what would come out.
Petter & Nathan Fake
Petter is abstract, melodic, deep, with orientation towards acid. Nathan Fake is more aggressive, techier, electro influenced, and loves glitches. great combo IMO.
Gabriel Ananda & T. Raumschmiere
both of the german electro tendency, only where Ananda is aerial, melodic and uplifting, Raumschmiere is hard, gritty and pulsating. who knows?
Tiefschwarz & Alter Ego
2 teams. when Alter Ego remixes Tiefschwarz, it normally owns, so putting them together in the studio is only logical.
Marc Houle & Richie Hawtin
Marc makes what a few people have called "music from 2018". he is one of Richie's proteges as it is, recording under the m-nus label as a solo artist, and in the RSR team. combining him with the plastikman himself would probably create something quite interesting.
Mathew Jonson & Matthew Dear
the clash of the Mat(t)hews. both great. the last is higher pitched and gritter, while the first is darker and quirkier. hmmm.
Sweet Light & Frank Lorber
the ones responsible for 'Abusator', and this guy, which just rocks. i'm guessing they'd make a great team. Sweet Light more for the bassline, Lorber for the percussion and tech feel.
a million more, but i'm done for now. |

Gabriel & Dresden and Armin van Buuren
now, before I get flamed...it'd probably be pretty damn cool. they got together for "Zocalo" and the result was pretty astounding. it wasn't one bit cheesy - it was beutifully intense and both parties got to show their edge. an artist album would definitely be a true work of art.
Markus Schulz and Timo Maas
I can't think of two better people to bring together for a great dark and moody progressive album. Timo Maas' spooky and deep sound with Markus' darker prog house feel would result in an album that would be quite the force to be reckoned with.
Sander Kleinenberg & Way Out West
hehe. a boy can only dream. |
