Ahoy hoy,

I was wondering if any TOTAs are/were into (or are at least semi-knowledgeable about) these genres. Personally, I've been getting a little tired of listening to *only* electronic music, and this seems like an ideal distraction from the 16-hours-a-day boom-boom-boom because it's also been the foundation of tons of house and breaks music. So I could expand my horizons *and* get some inspiration for new tracks in the process.

I know absolutely nothing about these genres. Nada. Zilch. Can anyone point me to some good music under this umbrella? I'd prefer the names of artists, albums, etc., which I could just go out and buy, rather than wasting my time trying to find a single song title on soulseek. And I'm not looking for the rarest in the world, but preferably not blatantly obvious stuff like James Brown. :)

I'm sure *some* people must have a few favourites. Anyone? Bueller?
