Download this track I produced a while ago "Freefall" ,..play it out if you can!, but what style do you think it is?... Its got the build up,..the big 'hands in the air' part, the 4/4 kick drum, yet it's not trance...big dramatic strings, flutes,etc.. kind of filmscore meets house?....'Filmscore house'!!!..whole new genre!

Downloading this took forever, hmmm, let's see. I definetly like the beginning. The intro paves way for what might either be a massive, epic trance, or a really bad action movie song.
Oh okay, it breaks into a melody
1:12, that's it? Where's the energy that was promised to me?
1:20 Nice flute or string!
1:50 great synths nice melody, but still no sign of a climax...:(
Maybe now, hmmm nope 2:24
Okay here we go, 2:34 another break? The kick roll sounded like the climax! Argh! Too much anticipation.
Another build up heh... Maybe this one is the climax Ive been waiting for...Well, mastering is good. 3:30, it's a good premise, but I've learned that this song, in a way lacks energy. I maybe a high hat, or stronger clap might do it.
Mixing i great. Amazing use of synths though.
Needs more energy, main tune isn't fit for the intro and atmosphere it creates in the beginning. Good melody, excellent windwoods.
Eh, I woulda loved aan explosive climax as falsely advertised at the beginning of the song. Woulda made an awesome Club Track.. :(
Keep up the good work though. I liked the Idea. |
