Hello...
I will visit the UK for Global Gathering next weekend.
It would be great if someone can answer me some questions:
I wanna know how much I have to spent for drinks and food. What will water, beer and other drinks cost at the camping site and at the festival?
I need to know that to decide how much euros I exchange to pounds.
And is there anything special I need to know about Global Gathering for what I need extra money?
Thanks for your help! |

ok, water costs about £2.50 a bottle, dont listen to the twats that stand outside trying to sell you bottles for £3 saying that it costs £5 inside.
Food is ridiculously expensive, like £4 for a hot dog that isnt cooked properly
Beer is about £4 as well IIRC
dont really need much extra cash, unless you want a GG t-shirt or anything, they're about £18

| Take a bottle of water with you and fill it up for £0 at the water stations. |

last year they wouldn't let you take them in. they didn't search me for weapons or drugs but they confiscated my water saying i had to buy drinks inside. nice to know they have their priorities right :p
and there's a bus service runnings to & from the train station according to the site |

Yes but be aware there is problems with the trains from the London/Leamington Direction due a tunnel collapse, Trains from Birmingham should be ok, Keep an eye on http://www.chilternrailways.co.uk/ as at the moment its buses only from Banbury to Stratford.......
The bus last year was a couple of quid from the station to the event. |

we seem to end up walking back to stratford, takes a fair while (nearly 2 hours or so to the station) but it's better than waiting all day in the bus queue
