It's got nothing to do with looks, they just don't normally serve booze so there's no reason to check IDs. I went a month ago on one of those "early" nights and, my memory may be completely making this up, but I think they just ID'ed at the bar, not at the door. |

| Laura, don't worry about your ID. Boa doesn't sell alcohol, and because of that, can't be busted for udnerage drinking, and therefore, don't need to worry about people at the door. I have never seen a single person IDed at boa. As long as you aren't a blatantly OD-ing minor, you'll be fine. |

I don't think you can OD on Redbull so I should be ok. I was just worried about making the drive to Toronto and then getting screwed at the door. I'm not worried so much anymore. Thanks. :) |

Of couse you can. Excessive amounts of caffeine are not to great for your cardiovascular system, and can induce seizures or even death.
Hell you can even OD on water for god's sake, WATER!

this is not true. I did it last november at philthy mcnasty's.
14 redbull double vodkas
+ 32 oz of beer
+ 3 bowls of weed

I couldn't sleep for 2 nights afterward, my back was in constant pain from the overtime my kidneys were working removing the 1.2 grams of caffine that I had pumped into my system. I looked it up, and 1.2 grams is passed the start of what constitutes a 'lethal dose' by mass as figured through testing on lab rats.
I actually drank philthy's clean of redbull that night, and I do not recommend doing this particular activity to anyone. I didn't know about what excessive caffine can do to you, but what made things worse was the fact the caffine worked against the alcohol I was drinking, masking their effects until I drove home.
So for the love of god, be careful with redbull. |
