I enjoyed this one. I'm not completely into tribal, but I am edging into it's more housey or progressive regions. This one however was a bit too techy or tribal for me. Some of the parts just seemed to stand still. Other parts are really awesome though. I will get there, just not there yet. :thepirate
Will definately check out vol. 2 anyways. :D |

I actually used to think the same thing when I first heard this kind of stuff, but since I've been getting into producing tunes I've learnt to appreciate the tribal type stuff alot more. Its all about locking into the groove and listening out for subtle elements being introduced to keep the track driving on - making it more and more intense. Simple things like introducing ride cymbals further into the tune make a huge difference even though its a minor addition compared to how other genres progress. If you were at a rave with a loud system you'd know what I'm talking about ;) |

Well worth the money. There are 3 tunes on that piece of vinyl... all of which are amazing! Misjah is a very underated producer in my eyes.

Forgot to mention...
