arite guys, i'm new to the forum, have being making music on the computer for about 2months now. Only started getting properly into it these past few weeks. I've made this little thing, its no where near finished and i dont have many samples! (if any1 has any then is there any way u cud send me em, tnx)
Its not a patch on the stuff u guys produce but i was wondering if some1 cud give me some pointers etc. tnx

You have potentiality....
Rhytm structure is cool...
Because you new in this couple of tea,this track is nice....Try less delay...and try automation..READ HELP TEXT...
And start FX work....
KEEP Going...try not stop..this is good way

| i'll post more wen i have got some more done, yeh it is a little strange but its just an idea to start with, i wanna get like really nice breaks style percussion with piano and nice soft pads etc. i'll remove the reverb, and i'll cut the delay down as linkimage said. does any1 know where i can get really good kick/snare samples from? tnx. |

What program are you working with? Reason has plenty of soundbanks with good drum samples.
regarding the track, great breakbeat and melody fits nicely...not much more to say on this, but you are on the right track and just keep playing around, adding more elements finetuning it, im sure this could be a nice track. |

| thanks Dylan. i'm using fruity loops with a few drum samples i have using them to come up with patterns to get that break beat thing going. I want to record guitar on this track (slide guitar) but unfortunatly i dont have the necessary equipment. I'm producing on a laptop and its useless with these rubbish speakers i have plugged into it. I'll check reason out :D |
