For PEOPLE_3, DJ/producer/percussionist D:FUSE is taking the live DJ concept to a whole new level. The album will be released at the end of September 2005 on Moist Music and will feature the live recording of D:Fuse’s new show debut. The show on Friday, July 29th at nightclub Mighty, San Francisco will feature a full percussion set up for the first time, including D:Fuse's signature mix of Electronic Congas, Bongos, Tablas, and Timbales - as well as adding Tom Tom drums and Cymbals. The show will also feature DJ/Producer Mike Hiratzka on guitar, bass, and keyboards and Austin’s MC Flipside. D:Fuse on the choice of debuting his show in San Francisco says, "[SF] has one of the best music scenes in the world. I love playing there because the crowd is always with you. It's become a sort of second home for me. We'll be improvising and reworking the tracks live. I can't wait to see the crowd response to this combination DJ and live show! It’s a very exciting time for us to debut this."

PEOPLE_3 is the third installment in D:FUSE’s popular compilation series, following "People" released in February 2002 which immediately entered the CMJ Chart at number 9, followed by “People_2: Both Sides of the Picture”, a 2xCD mix for System Recordings in 2003. This new 2xCD PEOPLE_3 continues the concept of "both sides of the picture" with CD1 being a chill mix and CD2 as a club mix (from SF). Both CDs will include exclusive new tracks and remixes by D:Fuse. The album release will be followed by an extensive tour of the new live show.

D:FUSE RELEASES B-SIDES EP*

This month D:Fuse releases "B-Sides Th' Funk" on Lift Room Records and exclusively on iTunes. The EP features unreleased tracks from the BEGIN studio sessions recorded outside London with Mark Horwood, as well as a brand new D:Fuse & Hiratzka rework of the track "Music is About You" recorded in Los Angeles featuring Austin upstart MC Flint. The original single was recorded in Glasgow with production duo Scanners. The EP also contains the single "Vegas" featured in the NBC hit show Las Vegas featuring production work by LA's Joy and vocals by MC Flipside and Motorcycle's Jes. ""This EP is about taking a looser approach in the studio," says D:Fuse. "'Begin' went in a more serious direction, but there were several songs that took on a more funky flavor that we just had fun with. I hope people appreciate this EP as the perfect summer mini-soundtrack for the beach. It definitely goes good with beer, and even better with a strong rum drink."

D:FUSE BECOMES NEW RESIDENT ON 104.3 KBIG FM IN LA

D:Fuse continues to reach America over the airwaves. In addition to his long-running weekly radio show ‘The People’s Mix’ on XM Radio 80 The Move (Satellite Radio), D:Fuse can now be heard every Friday 2:00-3:00am in Los Angeles on KBIG 104.3 FM. This is prime time for Angelenos cruising around for the LA nightlife. "This is a chance for me to play sets like you would hear me play out live headlining at a club - very energetic and thumpin,” says D:Fuse. The radio show runs 12:00am-3:00am with Thump Radio www.thumpradio.com. For more info on Thump Radio, please contact [email protected].

D:FUSE & ETYMOTIC RESEARCH EARPHONES

D:Fuse endorses the ER•4 MicroPro™ earphones as the next best thing to live music. These ER4 earphones provide noise isolation far surpassing that of active noise-canceling earphones. The ER•4s require NO batteries, and can be plugged into any audio source. Their external noise exclusion -- 35 dB with 3-flange eartips, 42 dB with foam eartips -- allows you to hear the full dynamic range of recordings without having to play them at unnaturally high and unsafe levels. It’s never to late to protect your ears, you only get one pair for life. D:Fuse says "The ER4 earphones are the next level in DJing. They deliver absolute mobility, clarity, and great sound quality. My mixing has never been better. And most importantly- they protect my hearing when I'm spinning. Their form-fitting design allows me to perform without headphones falling off my head or rattling around my neck. I can't imagine spinning without them!" For more info go to www.etymotic.com.
