| I work in the LaCoste shop in Glasgow. The label is quite different here, as its mostly chavs that wear it, especially the tracksuits!! However, we do get the posh folk in who have a lot of money. Some nice clothes but nothing I would ever wear :p |

I went to a school of somewhat mixed economic backgrounds (mostly middle class).
As early as grade 4 there was social pressure to differentiate between the have and the have nots. This was made manifest in t-shirts.
Where the seperating line in grade 4 was if you could afford any shirts that featured the Lacoste Aligator or the Ralph Lauren Polo guy.
My mom got me 2 Polo guy's :D |
