I just got a cheap and working powercore from ebay and the main thing for which is use it is the powercore virus demonstation version.
The sound is very nice better than all the other VSTis I tried.
But I am not sure if I should spent 433,- + 259,- Euro for the Virus and the Virus Multilicensem which would give me 4 instances of the plugin with a total amount of 64 voices.
(1) Although the demo runs quite good, I fear that the full version
could be too buggy in order to use it properly
(see www.powercore.noheaven.com for details :( )
(2) If sell the powercore again and invest the money for the plugins
on ebay I could get a Virus C.
(3) And if continue saving money I could also afford the Virus TI
(I guess it still takes some time till it is released)
What do you think about it? |

| Well, if you're really serious about it, you can always save up for the TI I guess. Though I don't think the Powercore is a bad buy? |

| depends a lot of your setup...poco it's not a friendly card but for some sytems works more than great.i have 2 poco and virus multi and i can tell you that i'm more than satisfied.i cant use to many instances when my project is almost full... so i would recomend you to buy the basic licence first and see how much acctually virus is taking from your CPU.the rest of the plugins are quite good especially the reverbs and masterx5 but i woud recomend UAD for compression and limiting.... |
