hey dood...i think you should make a 'For Sale' forum..im always running through gear, selin and ...i bet theres loads of peepz on here that feel the same way.

| how would it work? think of all the secruity and stuff, theres a whole site devoted for what u are thinking, called eBAY. think about it, we have people from all over the world, sorting all them bank details, all them postage details, what to do if people dont pay, damaged goods, its a full time job and there are many sites already doing that, its not just like setting up another forum, but what "could" be worked, it a forum where u can sell things "over" eBAY and use this forum to attract attention for the people ur aiming the product for, so a thread titel could be "Iio - Rapture (Armin van Buuren Remix) Vinyl For Sale", and then have a link to eBAY sale auction, so basically all ty details like address and sending and payment would be handled by eBAY, which is what its there for, and u use the the new forum to attract the kind of crowd u want to, now theres an idea... |

k..both you guys were seein it a lil different than i was...i was talkin bout maybe settin up a classifieds part of the forums where you can go in, post your various s for sale: vinyl, dj gear, computer hardware, etc.etc...it'd all be private parties sellin there . c.o.d., or however you want to do it. auctions like Ebay does. just straight forward, 'post ad, wait for response, work out the shipping and payment method, and everybody is happy' type of transaction.

true...it's a good idea lex. but coup has a point, there is no legal binding contract that's established here. This site is not a corporate one or one that's trying to market items. for example, if one TA let's say mails a cheque to another TA, the other TA receives that cheque and decides to be a total jackass and not send the vinyl but cash the cheque than the one who paid the cheque is ed.
i think keeping this place purely a mp3/digital media trading place would be ideal. less hassle for swampz as well. he can't be held responsible for trading vinyls and . |
