Silence (Tiesto Mix) vs. Rapture (any mix)

So both are great club anthems but which is your favorite????
For me nothing can beat the acapella build up of silence, sarahs voice is just amazing. It still gives me chills every time i here it.
ps. i dont need any flames about cheesy commercial trance etc etc... |

i agree with u that the build up of Silence is amazing..Sarah's voice is unbeleivable...i remember the first time i heard that track and i was buuuuugn out...i fell in love with it....
i just hate when i am driving around playing that track and some kid who heard it on the radio last month or in a club for the first time thinks they know all about trance or delerium or the majik man Tiësto...and say "why do u listen to that track its soooo old"
i hate when they say that...i mean i know and understand that Silence is very commercial now but in my opinion a GREAT track like that can never get PLAYED out...so i keep pumping it....and loving it

Actually I prefer Airscape's remix of Silence than Tiesto's. I am not sying I DON'T LIKE Tiesto's...just that I prefer the other one.
Rapture is the anthem of THIS year, but Silence, is just plain unforgettable! |

| I liked Silence ISOS at the time, but the more I hear the remixes the less I like them. So, I'm going to go with Rapture (Creamer & K Mix) closely followed by Silence (Michael Woods Rmx). |

| ugh!!! what a choice, great idea for a poll! (hint hint) well i heard silence ISOS in a club and went nuts, but then i also went nuts for rapture riva mix, i honestly dont no, both awsome, have to spend some thinking time! lol! |

Well... I like both tracks bout the same...
but i like Innocente Tiesto Mix the best... Jeezaus, that's like my all time favorite song... If someone like Ferry could remix it for a big buildup, it would be perfect!!! ahh...that song rocks. |

I think Silence was the undoubtedly the best vocal trance track released last year, it was caned during the summer, and became a massive commercial hit. You must remember though, it was the "Tiesto's in Search of Sunrise Mix" that made it such a hit!!
I would like to say the same for Rapture, but I don't think it got the same commercial base. I love the track and think that one of the mixes (probably AvB) would be the top track of this year. I love it!!
But, Tiesto didn't give this track his blessing, so we had to make do with PvD, Riva and AvB along with the commercial Deep Dish mixes.
I think that Silence was great, and Rapture too, but I'm a modern kinda bloke, and like whats new (not much for classic cars but love new, sporty ones :p).
Therefore...
My choice:
