Eventful, to say the least. Bree, Joel and all involved in throwing this party you deserve a round of applause for dealing with those characters. Got kicked off (were we really that bad?) in favor of some hip-hop, ran over to Ruby and had a great time. Good....good tuneage played!

1 Love crew...next month?

That sucks....I would have slapped the out of the owner if I was there.....complete bull.

Fun, fun, fun...

It was a great party while it lasted at Mission and Ruby Lounge was a nice cozy spot to move into. Joel, Bobby, Ryan and Pat did great spinning while it lasted.

And... I got pics. :)

ya def was good turnout. sucks that mission had to be soo shady about everything like they always are. money money money, unfortunately the upstairs party was doing better then us so bamm we get the boot. thats nyc at its finest right there but what can ya do. that dood that let us go back to ruby lounge was the saver of the night haha, mad props. one minor complaint about that place is..lightss..whatever i cant complain, at least we had somewhere else to go instead of ending the night at 1:30 lol. mad props to bri for throwing her first party.. see ya guys next weekend..... summmerrrstageeee pee vee deeee

last night had the elements of the beginning of something great...i sensed it in the air...saw it in the peoples eyes...faces...expressions...

usually i am too engulfed in my own world to notice these things but last night i paid attention...because i realized what was going on becauase of who was throwing the party and who was invited and came...

and then when the hit the fan and they virtually booted us...everyone united and would not have briannas first party go down with everyone peacin out around 1ish when the mission owners decided it was time for hip hop after pulling a triple booking...

then the exodus to ruby lounge happened...i felt like we were on our way to an outlaw party...a little under 100 people walked 10+ new york city blocks to a new venue to continue the party...it was like the blind leading the blind...it was funny...it was special...there was unity ive never witnessed in all my years...the walk consisted of a smattering of twiloites, vinylheads, a ton of arcoholics, tfst-nyc heads, future progression heads...all united...

the party was great...both of them...

the efforts of brianna, morgan, melanie, joel, bobby, and pat (not sure if ryan ever got to spin) were on point and done so well...people came out and not only supported but had fun...there was a partied being iniated, birthdays being celebrated, and a scene being redefined and growing...

even bigger and better things will come of this...i can see the future...and its bright due to the sunshine...

I had a in blast...u know that just says that no matter what the circumstances, all that matters is the people your are with, the music you are sharing, and nothin else matters.

Didnt get a chance to spin at mission...and dont really give 2 s...i loved listeing to the other dj's do their thing. I got a chance to play at Ruby when everyone was comin over there, but the cd players began to eat my cds and not eject them lol. So i handed things back over to Joel who kept the party goin nuts.

Brianna def deserves a thank you from everyone...she put up with some eff'n bull from that manager at mission, i saw it first hand in the beginning of the night. Typical NYC scumbag manager.

Cant wait to see you all at PVD next week.

One love.-Ryan

wow.

what can i say here without getting all choked up? probably nothing

the party on friday night obviously did not go as smoothly as i'd hoped but the setbacks only served to reaffirm my belief in our scene and my love for all of you. everywhere i turned i saw friends and familiar faces and the air was electric with positive energy. i felt a vibe reminscent of arc parties and it felt so damn GOOD! i tell you, i was practically getting off on it!

Of course the damn club owner had to be an and fk with the party but all he succeeded in doing was losing business and making a bad name for his establishment. when dealing with the level of deceit & shadiness that we were confronted with on friday, most people would have reacted with anger and lashed out, thus causing even more issues. Yet our group, DJs and guests alike, simply reacted with Peace, Love, Unity and Respect. If there was a ever a time when I saw PLUR in "action", it was Friday night.

I want to thank each and every one of who came out and showed your support. You are the reason I threw that party and you are the reason I believe in the community. You are the reason there IS a community.

I also want to specifically thank the DJs; Joel Van Bochove, Bobby Bolker, Pat King and Ryan Tyas. You guys are the ones who dealt with the most and didn't lose your cool. Some of you just met each other for the first time on Friday yet still easily formed a team and worked together. Not only did you spin great music for all of us, you acted professionally and calmly in all situations which made things so much easier on me. Once again, thank you. And congratulations because your sets were great and I enjoyed hearing all of you spin. The music was on point all night. Ryan, I'm sorry for the equipment issues as I'd have liked to hear you spin more. I hope you will play for us again in the future. :)

To all of you...
i can't thank you enough. On Friday i experienced the love that i named this party after and felt the togetherness that i'd been missing. i think we took a step towards something incredible. a new day is coming and i'm so glad that we are all still here, together, to enjoy it. you are all beautiful people and i love you more than you'll ever know.

thank you for believing in (and being part of) my one, true, love.
