.NET yes, but not pure VB. They're quite different, hence my original post about .NET making VB obsolete. ;) |
Maybe for stand-alone apps but on the web ASP is still used more. |

ASP.NET is the way of the future man. ;)
Especially since VB.NET apps are virtually portable to web sites... |

^^ no argument there :D
It's just that companies take so damn long to implement/convert to .NET |

Becks becks becks... hey, did you know the Spice Girls are back in the studio? Yessssssssss! I'm not ashamed to admit I love the Spice Girls! Girl Power!!!!! When Geri quit I was going to be "nutmeg" spice. I actually know the moves to "Stop"... and will perform in public at request.

Spice Girls choose London studio
Two of the Spice Girls will be hitting a London studio to record the group's much anticipated comeback album.
"Sporty" Spice Mel C and Emma Bunton, aka "Baby", will be descending upon the capital to put down tracks for the album that is expected to be released early next year.
However, although all five girls will be involved in the comeback including Geri Halliwell, the first girl to go solo, the whole group won't actually meet during the recording sessions.
With their busy lives keeping them in separate locations across the world, the Spices will sample their vocals separately.
While Mel C and Emma Bunton are reported to be recording in London, Geri will sing from the South of France, Mel B will perform from Los Angeles and Victoria Beckham will stay with hubby David in Madrid.
However, although the international recording will mark a major feat for the new album, the separate recordings have added to rumours of rifts and tension in the group.
A source told The Sun: "The girls are in different countries and couldn't agree on a place to meet."
"Scary" Spice Mel B is recently thought to have vetoed a live comeback performance at Live 8 in Hyde Park. |
