Loose record holes

I don't know if anybody else has this problem, but one of my FS recordsis very loose when it spins on the platter...a delicate nudge sends it going forward by alot, and it's kinda anoying when your manually correcting, which I often do.
I read somewhere that you can fix the grip of the spindle hole by putting tape or something of that sort over the hole and letting it puncture it. I tried and came up the same...any ideas or help?
Thanks.

it may just be how little grip the record is getting on your slipmats... because iv got some records that are hard to get on the spindle, but slide like a bitch when you move them... so if you dont use the other side of the FS record, try getting something to cause friction...

place a peice of electrical tape over the hole. Then put the tape side down on the platter and poke the spindel through the tape. This will fill the "gap" of the extra size hole and you will be able to cue and push record without it jumping forward or skipping the needle.

hope that helps.

well, obviously you would stick a piece of electrical tape, side down, covering the hole, and then stick it through. this will fill the "gap" of the extra size hole.

are you sure that she is the one wiht the problem? or is it you lol i donno if i would admit to that if i were you : P

as for the slutty record problem... i use toilet paper. i get a small square, place it over the spindle, and then put the record down. that usually helps me

I had this problem on possibly one of the worst records to have this problem with... a fekking scratch vinyl...

I just cut little bits of sticky tape and place in inside the hole... nothing spesh and tends to wear away after a while... does the job none the less and saves me running for toilet paper.
