Because the generalization can be applied to just about everything. Fear of change and the perpetuation of inefficient systems is holding the world back from working through the problems it currently faces.

Sometimes you just have to realise that its not worth the effort. If you go through life tackling every problem head on with a "I'm gonna conquer all" attitude, you better have your together like Anthony Robbins, cos life isnt like that for us bottom feeders.
