Freakin' right! At 8 am Friday morning (that's about 5 hrs from now), I'm done. Done for a year.
I'm delighted to say that I will no longer be working 6 and 7 day stretches with a few days off here and there, and no more retarded hours for a whole year, as I will be filling in for a maternity leave and scheduling the miserable bastards that I work with (and I mean that in the nicest possible way). Here's to being on call every other week and more money!!!
Bring on the occasional insomnia and gimmie my weekends again!

| I would have loved a regular overnight shift, but to switch my schedule every 7 days really sucked. I'll miss Greg the overnight dude, and light traffic. Here's to making my own hours! |

| Lucky bastard. I was working on Sunday night...and I had been up all day from being at Warped Tour (having only gotten 5 hours of sleep the night before). I made it through lunch okay...but then after that I was dying. I honestly was falling asleep. I had an easy job, and got to sit down for most of the time, so I started closing my eyes. Even after having a Red Bull. So I put in some beats REALLY loud, and kept walking around instead of sitting between jobs, to keep myself awake! It was horrible. |

It never gets easier, either, partying and working! I was up all night at Scumfrog, thought I'd learned my lesson, then was up all night for my birthday, and was dying all day both times.
I feel your pain. :o |
