hahaha, this thing is MENTAL. a bit of a movie clip actually, think Zabiela in Concert @ Mars. he abuses 2 EFX-1000s in this. very very nice. setup in vid is 2 CDJ-1000Mk2's, 2 EFX-1000s and a DJM-1000. watch for his live remixing using the echo/beat cutter, and his live tweakage of his echo loop of himself scratching...
also, watch for his straightened salon hair... bahaha...

with ya on that. he's into ableton now... however, first time i've ever seen him feedback loop off of his scratching, and tweak that with the beat cutter. that was pretty mental. not to mention the scratch routine he did oldschool mode with his CF. |
