just had a letter this morning from the gas company, they've decided to replace all the pipes in this street, it's going to take 10 weeks & they've sectioned us into 5 lots, each of 2 weeks, but then for 2 weeks each lot will be without any gas supply whatsoever :wtf:
so, anyone wanna lend me an electric shower, electric cooker etc :rolleyes: |

| im sure you'd rather go without gas for 2 weeks than have the pipe explode, the street evacuated and the whole road ripped up at once to find the problem. |

2 winters ago, our hot water boiler blew up, it took us 3 weeks to get a plumber and have him order the parts to fix it, it was snowing outside & allsorts and we had to goto my nana's house daily for baths & showers :( |
