Was driving a friend of mine home years ago after recently getting my car... It was morning.. we were both wired.. and I was still new to driving manual so I had to concentrate on that so her coffee wouldn't spill all over.

Anyways... so she mentions that she's worried about her brother cuz he didn't call her after going out on his motorcycle and he was supposed to still be out at that time so he should've been answering his phone -- to which I reply -- "maybe he just crashed early" -- and she goes "bad choice of words" and i'm like "uhhhh ya."

I had this guy come into the store wearing a shirt that said something about police. I asked if he was a cop, and he said no, he was in this other division and they called themselves C.O.W. I replied, "oh? Is that instead of pig?"

LMAO!!!

He left so pissed off, and I honestly didn't know what had happened. The girl I was working with was laughing so hard she had tears streaming down her cheeks. She had to explain to me what happened before I got it.

Another time, some guy came in and seemed a little gloomy. I asked how he was doing, thinking perhaps I could say something cheerful because most of the time I get the reply "bad day". Instead he says "my father just died". I was floored, so I paused with a blank face and apologized. I said that my father had passed away too, so I understood and I gave my greatest condolences. He started to cry! A full grown man in his 40's crying in the middle of the store, with 4 people in line behind him. AND I WAS THE ONE WHO MADE HIM CRY!! I was like "I AM SOO SORRY! Do you need a tissue? Can I help at all?"

The only thing he asked for was a bathroom... we don't have one. So after making the poor guy cry, I had to tell him to leave and go somewhere else to clean up. :(

Ahhh... I have many more :) Seriously, 5 years of customer service and a million interesting customer situations.

working at subway, for about a year at this point, owner comes in, like all other fast food jobs, its boring, repetitive and flat out horrid.

So he comes in, does he usual check up on all employees, and since i worked alone every shift, the customers were all i had to talk to.

So he is still in the back, a customer comes through, i'm making his food, and he says " is it fun working here" without thinking, because my reply always the same " I hate this damn place".

then, my memory strikes back, as my boss, and owner of the store is standing little more than 3 feet away. Shaking his head, that's when i realized, subway wasn't for me :).

Or, none the less, he thought it wasnt.

^^Thats classic!!

I remember helping a middle aged couple at work with some TVs. After questioning me aboud a particular model I replied "nah those are "

Whoops! :haha:

Earlier this week a regular customer came in who usually chats for a while before doing his shopping. He asked me "Got anything new in" my answer: "Nah its all the same old garbage"

I'm lucky I dont work on comission :haha:

Embarrassing-----> I never heard of the word "tube steak" before and my ex used it frequently never telling me it was another word for "penis". So I think in my mind it must be some different kind of steak I never tasted. We go to Loblaws one day to get groceries, I walk up to the meat counter. The guy says, 'Can I help you?". Me.."Yes do you have any tube steak". The guy was shocked and said "No". I said "Do you not carry that kind of steak". He is red faced and says "Tube steak is not a kind of steak and we don't carry it".
:nervous:
I went outside in the car and told my ex I just made a fool myself and he was a jerk for not telling me about the real meaning of "tube steak".

This didn't actually happen to me but one of my coworkers and i think its worthy of inclusion.

I work a job where I clean park bathrooms, and one day a woman approached one of the other guys who does my job and complained about the state of the washroom he had just cleaned.

He replied with "Lady, its not the ing hilton".

He was fired the next day.

Doing wrong is "failure in doing".

So...

If you fail to plan, plan to fail. There is no failure option, therefore PPP is required (perpetual planning processes).

Lets get to work.

Leaving the Guv at around 3:30 AM the night of Sasha and Lawler because my back was hurting and my ride was leaving with my bag in it...

In retrospect I should've grinned and gone with the pain, and gotten my bag later.
