Does Cosmicman aka Matti Laamanen aka Sundawner still live?

This man was uber brilliant with his tracks 'Love You 1.4', 'back 2 unity' and 'krystal dreams', when all of a sudden he started to produce uber boring progressive trance under his sundawner alias and after that i never heard anything from him again...
He never had the credits with his trance tracks which he deserved (they were world class), so i guess he decided to go progressive trance (which wasnt a skill he possesed) and after that his name became forgotten...
If only he'd come back with some trance music, we need him
Or am i wrong, and is he still active and respected? |

| I totally agree, those tracks you listed are indeed brilliant. To be honest I haven't heard anything from him recently, but I hope he is just taking a break and heading back to his roots :D . |

I liked I Love You back when it was played here, about a year before its global release. After that it was played to death and beyond and i got so tired of it. Over the years i have kinda liked some of his tracks and remixes but nowadays not that much anymore, some have been way too generic and boring sounding for my tastes. Then again, Sundawner - Sorrow i first didn't like at all until i heard the Dub Mix and now i think it's an ok track without the vocals.
i think his latest release is Eye Wall - Bad Deal from early July. |

He has went towards more progressive sounds rather than his traditional uplfiting and main room style of music.
Shame cuz i think Flakes is comparable to any tune ive ever heard. Modern classic. |
