Marco V, well known for mixing genres with textbook precision, really has employed his Midas touch to this beautifully blended cd - it is very much a breath of fresh air! Featuring dirty house, tech house, trance and lord only knows what else, this cd really does have a bit of everything.

I found myself sucked in right from the start - Martin H & Oliver Klien's smutty "Club Game" immediately followed up by the even filthier "Whos Who - Not So Dirty" - and with artists such as Steve Angello, Benjamin Bates, Steve Lawler; plus Marco's own "Automanual" all on board the cd drives purposefully onwards towards the climatic finale...Marco's own massive single "More than a life away" leading into the last track and the focal point of the mix: Todd Miner with "Reach for the Sky"...what an absolute tune! The mixing is all exceptional, with plenty of Pioneer DJM 1000 trickery for the anorak brigade to drool over. This CD is the absolute bollocks and its been on my system all week!

To end off disc 1, we've got another oddity of a track, and once again, I like. Reach for the Sky by Tod Miner is a great funky almost-house-but-too-heavy techno track. It's got a wicked funky bass line and Marco V even seemingly plays around with the tables a bit to add some variety to a fairly monotonous but fun song. (Either that or the song was made this way and is much better for it, but props to Marco if he did it himself.) What a great finish to a top notch disc.
