not really a gaming question, but I figure its the best place to ask. If I want to start getting cable TV over my Pc monitor, what product would you reccomend?
dont want a PC capture card, just want to watch TV on my monitor(space limitations in new appartement) also, needs to have 1 alternate input so that i can play PS2 on it.

I've been using Avermedia tuner for a while now. It's ok but recording sucks plus no remote. It's quite old, maybe it's time for an upgrade. I'm sure newer cards will have all of that plust some, for not a lot of $$. |

| I got a Winfast TV 2000 XP TV tuner card for about $30 from NewEgg that works very well. You can just plug coaxial cable in and you're set. You can also record TV shows but only if you have a decent system. |

| You should also try getting one of the TV tuner cards from Hauppauge.com, Mines is the WinTV PVR, It's cable ready plus comes with a built in FM tuner. |
