| Over here all you hear is stupid top 50 songs getting played at high school dances. Only once I've heard a hardhouse song get played at a high school dance. I will literally my pants if one of those DJ's at high school dances played Universal Nation or something like that. |

| Sandstorm was played here last in 2003. If anything the song Sandstorm revitalized the much underground trance scene here in the U.S. I was surprised to hear this song played on Top 40 stations when the song first came out. It even, sort of, sparked 2 new dance radio stations. Unfortunately the music scene now is completely Hip Hop and RnB for the young adult demographic. Also those 2 new dance stations ended up changing their format as a result. |

| I haven't heard a big DJ play sandstorm, but I was midnight bowling last week and I heard the song then on bowlin' radio 360 or something like that :haha: |

Honestly, I just dropped this in a mix yesterday.
It was a set of a bunch of old school cheese classics I'm mixing and burning for a group of friends. Sort of a 'memories' cd.
As much as this song gets made fun of, it sure does remind me of good times. |

actually saw a Ice figure skater on TV do a routine to it recently.
on a side note... if you get the chance check out one of Darudes sets nowadays.
I think you will be surprised. Very good melodic progg to hard tech trance. Very good!

DJ Jean was never at Sensation 2003
and Sandstorm was an old track that I only on occasions
listen to the song. |
