When Were You In FIRST GRADE? (pg. 2)

| 86-87? i was in either 1st or second grade when challenger went down (i am fairly certain that was in 87). i remember cause our school planted 7 trees for them. i went back there recently and one of the trees is already dead. |

we have "years" you do 11 of those until you're eligible to leave school, and upto 3 more for higher education before university. If by first grade he means first year, then it would've been since i was um. 5 years old maybe, i dunno, it was a long time ago |

Oh i see. In the real school, after all the kindergarten and such, we have first 6 years of grade school (grades 1-6), usually started at the age of 6 or 7. Then follows 3 years of junior high school or something like that, not sure of the correct term. Then about 3 years either vocational/trade school OR senior high. At this far it's pretty much compulsory for us to do (not absolutely positively but anyway). After this you're totally on your own about your future plans. |
