Bonjour!

I was curious about where the Bloc/PQ were located in the political spectrum (i.e. Left vs Right) in relation to the other parties?

they're social democrats, whatever it means.
ShadoWolf
They are FAR left, with the exception of some socially conservative members (from rural Quebec I guess).

Duceppe is an admitted Marxist. :eyes:

In his youth, he advocated communism, and was a card-carrying member of the Worker's Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist).

nah they're not far left.

and duceppe was a marxiste, but that changed, he even laughs at it when people bring it up...

They're pretty damn left. More left than the liberals - isn't that ironic? But they also attract some of the most conservative voters. Damnit, our politics make no sense! :conf:

Well, not really, i mean if they were called the conservatives and were more liberal than the liberals, THAT would be ironic.

The present situation is, meh, gay.

Stupid PQ.
Verm

PQ = Very far left, they like Quebec's community basically and want Quebecers to be equal...

Except English people obviously.

JK

But ya, pretty left, bunch of card carryin commies!
Sean Walsh
The dynamic of the party truly is interesting; they're left in so many respects, and the antithesis of left in many others.
