No no no, Steve Perry didnt sell out from what i know. Im a huge Journey fane since I was a lil 3 year old putz. Steve just gotta a huge head thinking he was the band & he kinda like got voted out. I love Steve Perry & his voice is God like. But the new STeve Augeri is damn close & he even has the same big ass nose. :p

So no sell out on SP's end from what I know. Ya, im a fag for loving this band.:gsmile:

what? what sort of music do you listen to? you must hate synthesizers and effects, and ed up vocals.

music from any generation has some suck in it, but this entire electronic scene developed from all that terrible in the 80s.

Just because developed from that synthy bollocks doesnt mean I should like that synthy bollocks :p

Granted there were some nice tracks, but on a whole it was jeering male vocals and off-key synth melodies.

Some of the better ones:

Axel F
Eye of the Tiger
Some Genesis, Queen and Blondie stuff

And as movies go, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Wargames are classics (whatever happened to Mr Broderick?)

I just personally feel that the 80s were weak compared to the 70s (Disco baby!), 60s (Woodstock Rock n Roll and The Beatles), 50s (Start of The Beatles and Elvis), 40s (Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Ray Charles, Casablanca), 30s (Colour cartoons, Superman, The Wizard of Oz, Nuclear Fission), and the 20s (TV, Jazz, Art Deco, Penicillin and Gangsters).

Perhaps 100 years was a bit over-eager, and also I find decades tend to run from middle to middle (ie, the 80s seemed more 84-94), but I just didn't like alot of the 80s, especially the fashion :toothless
