Joe Nieuwendyk and Garry Roberts both left the Leafs this morning...

...discuss...this is ty, both are excellent players...I hope the Leafs have something up their sleeves...a younger team maybe?

I liked Nieuwendyk, but Roberts was always an overrated player. Still not as overrated as Domi though - now that's a player i'd like to see gone.

Yea, but from I've been reading, Domi's been hangin' out with Lemieux in the last few days too.

On a postive note, we did pick up Jeff O'Neil

Yeah, I'm happy about that. It's good to shake things up once in a while.

leafs are thinking long term and are waist deep in crap this comming season....they have alot of work to do. but on another note i think teams like pitsburg, nashville, and other "weak" teams in the pre salary cap nhl will really shine this comming season. i think we are in for some very exciting hockey people
