I'm not really sure if it could be called a "collaboration", but apparently Fred Baker has made a bootleg of the classic Two Full Moons & A Trout that he played at the recent Global Gathering.
Fred Baker has "changed the chords" and it is getting released on the A State Of Trance label soon under a completely different name.

G&M Project (Gitelman and Martinez) are a superb collaboration providing us with some totally awsome trance in recent years. They also record under the alias of Jaron Inc. Their remixes are brilliant and are so powerful- something which is lacking in a lot of new tracks. Whilst I love the Above & Beyond / Anjunabeats / ASOT nu-trance sound, I like different textures and appreciate decent tough banging remixes by these guys.

Neo & Farina are pants, I agree with that. Totally over-rated in my book. Their work has an amateur-ish sound, and lacks quality and depth. That said, I cant help but like:
Mona Lisa Overdrive - Born to Synthesise (Neo & Farina remix) [Platipus]
Not sure what would happen if u put these two duos together, it would probably be cack...!!
I thought a really sh*t collaboration would be:
DJ Sammy - Sunlight (Pulser remix) but it turned out to be wicked!! I love this :)

G&M produce the kind of stuff that represent everything that's wrong about trance today. Uninspired, powerless, mindless unenergetic supersaw bull. Their remix of Greece 2000 is a prime example of why they should not be let in a studio ever again. |
