First Cybernetika full lenght album release - grab it now :P

Hi folks,
long time ago since I've been here last time... I reformatted my computer and reorganized my files and guess what - old project files disappeared or were erroneous. Because I reorganized my samples, the project files dont seem to load them anymore. But whatever...

This is the beginning of a new era to me (hopefully). I'm giving away the mp3s of tracks I made in the last 4 months or so, before the "catharsis". Heh. ;) ... It's sad that I won't be able to change them and really finalize them anymore, but I already got new ones coming... you can still expect my first "serious" album release (and a secret collab :P) :)

So, before these tunes start to rot on my harddisk, I'll give them to you: 80 Minutes of Dark Goa. Some of the stuff you might already know (Genetisis, Silver Blue Aurora, Earth Signal, Collective), the rest is previously "unreleased". I know some of it needs some fixes here and there, but in general I feel quite content with the tunes.

This posting is not so much about getting comments on technical issues, because I cant fix errors anymore. I welcome any feedback of course!
My main intention is just to give you some fresh music because you deserve it :D

So here is it:

Paralysis

1. Jupiters Realm (10:17)
2. Genetisis (8:01)
3. Machinery (11:11)
4. Eath Signal (3:23)
5. Starbound (12:24)
6. Darconic (11:15)
7. Silver Blue Aurora (12:33)
8. Collective (10:55)

Total: 79:59

Downloading now... that's a lot of free music, thanks!

When you say album, is it an independently released thing, or are you signed? Just curious.
cybernetica
Nope, it's an unsigned album, just a few tracks I've created. My first *signed* album will hopefully be finished at the end of this year or in the early next year.
david.michael
Yeah I meant your up-and-coming album... I didn't know if it was an independent thing or if you have an album being released on a label soon :)
cybernetica
The full album is gonna be probably harder and more Psy than Goa, yet a bit melodic. Similar but different, hehe. I am still working on some completely damaged sounds... and lots of atmospheric stuff. I want to release it on Xenocreator's upcoming small label, if that is possible :)
MegaMan
great! will check your album out when i'll come back from my daddy's work...
you know... its a great idea to post em in an album like that, cuz this way i could hear all of them and have this feeling not just about one tune, but about the whole album, and feeling is always way more powerfull than about just one song.
anyway, looking forward to hear your "pro" album next year, i was thinking tell you not to rush, i know its hard not to, since i know though my own experience, when you have lots of ideas, you trying to put them all in the shortest time possible, since they may be lost, but trust me, no tracks out there were done in a rush. So take your time, and remember, when I will get your next pro album, if i wont hear some rubbber synthetic pro done, perfect in mastering and dynamics sounds, i will kill you :)
btw, mastering can be done in steinberg's wavelab 3, thats at least what i'll be using when i'll get down to some serious work, and finalyl finish experimenting with reason, reaktor and cubase sx.
good luck.

WHOA awesome gift mate - just got back from 5 months in Missouri for basic training and ait in the army... NO MUSIC THERE... now ur goa is free for me? SWEET!
MegaMan
k yo, i must say, impressive!
machinery - sounds very pro, very well done, sounds psyish goish, loved it
earth signal is obiously psy brakes - nice
starbound is goa, sounds good, has this star feeling to it, very nice
draconic - sort of 1999 psyish tune, sort of astral projection style
silver aurora - wow, very nice goa man, very nice!
collective - ambience, of course, no brains to tell a genre for this one
jupiter - just like draconic, sounds 1999ish
genetics - good way to finish it off, sounds pro man, seriously.

overall, after listening to this album, i have no reason not to see this released by a major label.

loved all the tunes in there except earth signal, i give this album B+ man, which means its pretty ing damn good, honestly, i dont dig you keep using fruity, you need to move towards more pro software like reaktor, reason and cubase.
fruity is holding back your potential
cybernetica
Thanks a lot MegaMan for the words. Really cool to read such detailed feedback :)
I know many people keep saying me I should move to Cubase or whatever, but Fruity is great for getting my ideas down quickly. I just love the simple piano roll, easy automation and stuff. I can just put into notes whatever comes to mind. I usually compose in few (sometimes very long) stream-of-consciousness sessions. In other programs, I would lose thread and my inspiration would be blocked by small technical details. To say it honestly, I dont want to get stuck with the details too much when producing.
But its a good idea to use another program for mastering since Fruity is kinda limited in mastering issues, I admit. Maybe I gotta use Fruity as Rewire in Cubase or try mastering in Soundforge... We will see :)

Anyway, thanks again for your inspiring comment :)

SteelWolf, great to make the release at the right time for you :D

Really enjoyable mate, I listened to it at work so I wasn't concentrating on individual tracks. But overall it's very polished and solid. You should be really proud having made a whole album to this standard! Thanks for sharing :D

Sparkunian
Good luck with your new projects mate;) About the free album I already have it and I enjoy it at my car and home:cool: I wish to acheive all of your goals because you deserve it.
Cheers
