How is that possible I was there last year and I do not remember seeing all those people. I remember seeing a few hundred at the most.

Yeah, I know there could be better choices out there, I just dint do the research. I saw this online a few months back..checked it out at BestBuy and frankly never been able to take many videos and pics of gigs and events coz I simply hate the fact that I have to carry a handbag or something for a decent video cam, I like to be handsfree...hmm saw this, checked out the pic quality...was good enuff for me and looks sick!!... and the fact that it just folds into almost as small as a phone and straight into my pocket was IT for me, had to buy it. :p

And hey, I never had any bad experiences with a Sony. So... :D

Only good think about Sony's is the video. Otherwise Canon > Sony.;)

how's the microphone on that?
i have the HP945 and the videos' sound is always drowned out by static from the ultrasensitive mic :(

why are people worried about them changing the venue! this is pvd not avb! he can hold his own, and so can his crowd, and the weather's not going to be worse than last year's menacing downpour (unless it's as gross as nyc was this past weekend)

Well fold up into your pocket yes, but quite honestly, isnt it a bit large? like seriously it feels like those old nokia phones that are like bricks. i palmed it at b&h photo and it just didn't cut it for me. i'd probably drop that loot into a t7. i think that's my next electronic buy after my sony amp. the only downside to sony's superb builds is their proprietory sony memorystick duo + many more can cost you arms, legs, and children and for what? to take pictARz!

Casio Exilim is comparable in size and picture quality not to mention functionality and mode settings and of course the always cheap secure digital cards. you'll get a 2GB for the price of a 1GB Memory Stick.

Yes, true in a way..and thats the reason I bougt it. the video is pretty good actually and 5.1megapix is not bad at all....

Well the mic is pretty crisp and it has 2 of em' for stereo...but I guess the reall test would be in a club, as most of the video cams I have seen have the audio jarring all the time...suxx really!
