oh man, this is rekindling to much pain :( :( :(
i went to cancun last year. 5* beautiful place, time of my life. from like the 26th to 3rd. if only i could afford to do it all again this year :( i'm missing not having a vacation so bad. |

Pacific Beach Hotel perhaps? That's where I stayed. It was OK. Beach right across the street. Right next door to a restaurant called "Cheeseburger in Paradise". Oh man...sooo goood!
You're gonna have so much fun!!! Maui is beautiful. Much more peaceful than Oahu for sure. It's not so commercialized.

Ahh I should have read the whole thread and my question would be explained:D
I stayed at the Outrigger for 5 days last time i was there, right on the beach. One thing that sucks about the Waikiki area is that its mad expensive, food perticularly. I ended up eating at Subway everyday, haha, it was still way more then anywhere else.
Make sure you check out Diamond Head Creater, its very close to Waikiki. Also a trip to the North Shore is a must if you are at all into surfing. The power and size of the waves is insane!!!
Also, rent a scooter, they're hella fun:crazy: |

I have my ticket! I get back THE day of Labour of Love...10 in the morning to Detroit...and I just bought a train ticket to Toronto at 2pm AND at 5:30...so I better not miss both of them! Keep your fingers crossed...I really hope/plan to be there! |

Diamond Head is on my list of things to do...and North Shore eh? I'm definatly interested in surfing...I've wanted to learn like my ENTIRE life. My dad was asking me what things I wanted to do the most and surfing was number one on the list! |

So guys...I'm leaving for Hawaii tonight...well technically tomorrow morning at like 4am. I just wanted to say Good-bye to you all! Be good...I'll miss you! 2 weeks without TA...what am I going to do?!
Can't wait to see EVERY SINGLE ONE of you at Labour of Love! Hopefully you'll all recognize me, b/c I plan on being completely black from tanning. Let's hope this mechanics strike doesn't affect me! And that my plane gets back on time so I can make it up to Labour...if not...I don't know what I'll do!!
