strange because this day in history was 20 yrs ago the Flight 191 delta airplane crash in Dallas. even stranger...thunderstorms were in the area of DFW at the time of the crash

So let me see if I get this striaght. Plane gets hit by lightning, crashes into wooded area, gets torn in half, turns into fuming fireball, and NO ONE DIED? I'm really glad, but isn't anyone else totally freaked out by this? I remember watching the first reports and thinking "no one could've possibly surived this".

what's even scarrier is the thought that it landed and blew up so close to Toronto's (if not CANADA's) busiest HWY. HWY 401 around rush hour which was absolutely packed at that time. It could've been a horrible outcome, but glad to see everything turned out alright. I drove by the site tonight from work on my way home...and I could stil see lots of smoke and ....firetrucks and emegency crews out there.

Oh yeah..on another note: Clovis86..yes u do suck!:clown:

Ok, as great as it is that everyone survived and that things are back to being dandy, is it really necessary to cover the story on every fricken channel for hours and hours and hours on end?

Everyone and their mom got interviewed. "So I was driving on the highway, and I saw smoke. I didn't know what was happening, so I slowed down on the busiest highway in Canada and nearly started an accident. Blahdy blah blah blah blah, insert more random crap here."

Honestly, I don't think it is necessary to go on about this until everyone is blue in the face. I personally do not watch television, however, I started a new job this past week, and yay for me, there is a television in the bar. Every time I was in there, all I could hear was "blah blah blah airplane, blah blah amazing story, yadda yadda!" That lasted ALL night!!! Four hours of constant coverage of the same damned thing!!! The story hasn't changed yet people!

Bleh...

A little of both. I am primarily a waitress.

Yay! That sounds like fun (minus working the other job at the same time).
