| Actually, I go to all the parties every weekend in Atlanta, and I have to say this was one of the best of the year...Granted some of the opening acts weren't all that good, but BT owned....played with Junkie XL type enthusiasm and not one bad song all night.....I read this forum all the time but rarely ever post, but I think people need to keep their "issues" with certain promoters or "styles" of music to themselves. This scene is supposed to be about unity and one love, but seems alot of posters use these two things to cut down what others like and make their own opinions heard. It is crazy how this music is supposed to promote so much openmindedness, yet some people still let their close-mindedness shine through....do what you do and love what you love and let others do the same... |

| One more thing, I don't even know the guy that promoted this at all or anything about him, but if it is a promoters job to promote his party to make money, then of course he wants to keep it in the spotlight...Liquified does this, Surface does this, even In Like Flynn does this...and I think it is the smart thing to do to make the most money and if you were in their shoes, I daresay you would do the exact same thing. |

You say this as if it's a bad thing. Everyone here has a right to express their own opinion about ANYTHING, that's the whole purpose of an internet forum! I'm not gonna let you or anyone else tell me otherwise! What's wrong with giving an artist a negative reveiw? It's just like going to see a movie that sucked and letting all your friends know that it's a huge waste of time and money.
Besides, I wasn't bashing the style so much, it was the person playing it (or letting someone else play it in this case). I swear, you opinion-haters amaze me. What's wrong with the world?? Don't you realize that without differing opinions, this world would be totally monotonous? Is that what you want? GIVE IT A REST MAN! |
